Bringing a Remarkable Bugatti Type 40 Back to Life
This 1928 Bugatti Type 40 underwent a complete restoration, carefully carried out from the chassis upwards to ensure every component was returned to a Bugatti standard of reliability and performance.
Particular attention was given to the mechanical systems throughout the car, with each component carefully inspected, restored and rebuilt where required. The aim was to preserve the character of the Type 40 while preparing it for the demands of both competition driving and long-distance driving.
Following its restoration, the car went on to compete in numerous Mille Miglia events, finishing among the top five on multiple occasions in the legendary Italian Mille Miglia, as well as winning the Japan La Festa Mille Miglia in 2028.
